The mission of Saint Vincent de Paul School is to educate our students in the Roman Catholic tradition. We aspire to teach as Jesus did, with a focus on the gospel values. As facilitators of learning, we recognize parents as the primary educators of their children. We encourage our students to be responsible and sensitive to Church, School, and Neighboring Communities. We challenge our students to build their moral intelligence and become self-motivated lifelong learners who will share their gifts with the world.
Saint Vincent de Paul School is dedicated to providing an excellent Roman Catholic education to its students and committed to “teaching as Jesus did.”
Saint Vincent de Paul School believes that every member of its faith community is unique and valuable, because his or her life comes from God. We believe that the purpose of a Roman Catholic education is to assist each student to become a lifelong learner, identify and communicate his or her personal worth and message, become aware of the same worth in others, and acquire a sense of responsibility to the global society.
It is the goal of Saint Vincent de Paul School to provide for the development of each child to his or her fullest potential as a whole person: spiritually, morally, socially, physically, intellectually, and emotionally. We strive to do this by offering excellent curriculum in Religion, Mathematics, Reading, Science, English, Social Studies, and Spanish. To further promote student development we include Art, Library Skills, Music, Drama, and Physical Education. The use of technology is integrated throughout the curriculum.
Students at Saint Vincent de Paul School are encouraged to be active members of the community through their participation in student council, various clubs, team sports, and activities created for “student families”, student groups composed of one student per grade.
Saint Vincent de Paul School recognizes parents as the primary educators of their children and teachers as facilitators in the learning process. We understand the value of working in partnership in the education of each child and therefore foster close parent-student-teacher relationships.
